Real Men Read is an initiative that seeks to help bridge the gap in literacy development and education for male students. We believe that by establishing an environment where boys have the chance to socialize and interact with one another while interacting with books will help them develop a more positive, masculine sense of reading. We allow boys the choice of what they read and provide them with books that meet their interests. By validating their interests, offering them choice and establishing positive male interactions will all help boys read better and read more.
